An oil change is the cheapest insurance you can buy for an engine. Fresh oil carries heat away from the moving parts, keeps carbon and metal particles suspended in the filter instead of circulating, and keeps the seals and bearings lubricated under load. Old oil stops doing all three at once.

Oil that’s past its service life turns into sludge. Sludge blocks the narrow oil passages that feed the top of the engine, and starved components — camshafts, lifters, turbo bearings — wear out fast and expensively. A neglected oil change is one of the most common reasons an otherwise healthy engine ends up needing major work.
Running low on oil is just as damaging as running old oil. If your vehicle has a leak or is burning oil between changes, that’s worth diagnosing now, while it’s still a gasket or a seal and not a rebuild.

We check the manufacturer’s specification for your vehicle — conventional, synthetic blend or full synthetic, and the correct viscosity and capacity.

Drain, replace, refill
Old oil out, new filter on, fresh oil to spec, drain plug torqued properly with a new washer where required.

Fluids, filters, belts, hoses, tires, brakes and suspension get a look while the vehicle is on the lift.

We reset the maintenance reminder, tell you what we found, and give you a realistic date or mileage for the next visit.

How often should I change my oil?
It depends on the vehicle and the oil. Many modern engines running full synthetic go 7,500–10,000 miles; older engines and conventional oil are usually closer to 3,000–5,000. East Texas heat, short trips and towing all shorten that interval. We’ll look up your manufacturer’s schedule and give you a straight answer for your vehicle.

Do I need full synthetic oil?
If your manufacturer specifies synthetic, yes — using conventional can void coverage and won’t protect a modern engine under heat. If your vehicle allows either, synthetic buys you longer intervals and better protection in Texas summers, but conventional is not a mistake.
